The history
of Porta Solutions
Established in 1958, the company initially focused on the production of Transfer machines to meet the needs of a market for highly productive systems.Later, faced with the crisis of the model of mass production, Toyota introduced the concept of Lean Manufacturing, based on flexibility and paving the way for Machining Centers in battery.
After a few years, however, even the business model based on high flexibility started to prove problematic.
It was precisely at this time that PORTASOLUTIONS decided to develop its PORTACENTER, the first Machining Center with 3 independent spindles
